After 10 years selling the twin-turbo brake caliper conversion kit, we had many customers ask us for a kit that works with the non-turbo calipers (26-mm wide). We went back to the drawing board and redesigned this kit– it allows for more wheel fitment options, the calipers are much easier to find (and cheaper!) but still has the heavy duty brake rotor and superior stopping power! A win-win!

After trying the common Volvo brake caliper upgrade, we found that they just ate the rotors and eventually would fade after hard use. Our test drivers agreed—it was time to develop a four-piston brake caliper upgrade using 4-piston aluminum calipers and race rotors!
Spriso Motorsports sells components so you can build an affordable, big-brake kit for your Datsun Roadster. We sell the hard-to-make stuff, you supply the rest!
Because we realize that each roadster owner has different requirements for their braking needs, we have offered just the basics to get you started, and you supply the rest. With each kit we supply a list of recommended components such as calipers, hardware, and rotor specifications so you can build a brake conversion that suits your application.
Parts that you need to supply are:
- 300ZX 1990-1991 Nissan 300ZX non-turbo (26mm) ALUMINUM calipers
- Brake Lines
- Brake Pads
- Rotors (from Coleman Racing Products) 11″ in diameter, 30mm wide
The brake kits require a 15″ wheel to clear the brake calipers, and may require a small wheel spacer for your wheels to fit depending on application.

- 2 CNC machined, 6061 aluminum rotor hats to use a Coleman Racing Products rotor
- Installation instructions
